Overview

Thompson Metal Fab fabricated a total of ten ASME-certified chemical process vessels for REC Silicon’s solar-grade silicon production facility in Moses Lake, Washington. Among the vessels were two columns measuring 150 inches in internal diameter, which required barge transport to Pasco, Washington, followed by overland shipment to the job site. The vessels were designed to meet stringent pressure and material requirements and were fabricated to precise tolerances for critical chemical processing applications. TMF’s ability to manage large-scale vessel fabrication and multimodal transport logistics played a key role in the project’s successful execution.
