Chemical Process Vessels: REC Solar Grade Silicon Project

Thompson Metal Fab supplied a total of (10) Chemical Process Vessels for the solar grade silicon industry. Due to the size, (2) 150” ID columns were barged to Pasco, WA and then shipped over the road to the jobsite in Moses Lake, WA.

QTY 2: Tray Columns – 150” ID x 117’-0” Long (weight: 205,000 lbs)

QTY 2: Tray Columns – 150” ID x 119’-0” Long (weight: 210,000 lbs)

QTY 2: Columns – 54” ID x 75’-0” Long

QTY 2: Columns – 60” ID x 113’-0” Long

QTY 2: Columns – 38” ID x 72’-0” Long

Highlights

-Internal Tray Columns were shop installed by TMF.

-Large diameter vessels were shipped over the water by way of the barge slip at TMF’s facility. Vessels were shipped upstream (Columbia River) to Pasco, WA.
