Thompson Metal Fab (TMF) occupies a 374,000 sq ft, eleven bay fabrication facility – each bay measures 420ft in length x 80ft in width with 39ft under the crane hook. We can easily expand to adjacent bays or additional outside areas as projects require. For efficient material handling, the TMF facility is equipped with overhead cranes ranging from 10-tons to 30-tons each, as well as over 110 one-ton jibs and hoists.

Our material handling includes forklifts ranging from 2-tons to 15-ton, as well as a 40-ton travel life, a side-beam loader, a P&H Hydro, carrie deck cranes, and hydraulic lift yard tractors. In addition, TMF has eight 40-ton moving dollies with a hydraulic jacking system.

With regards to transportation, the TMF facility has immediate access to highway, rail, and air. Our location on the Columbia River offers river and ocean transportation. The east barge slip can accommodate loads of 3000-tons.
